Body (Clarity/Transparency): This gem is transparent when of faceting quality. It possesses excellent durability (Mohs 8.5), a vitreous luster, and distinct cleavage. The color is a pure, saturated red, often with slight brownish or purplish modifiers. Eye-clean stones are exceptionally rare. Most material is included.
