“No Heat” stones with fine natural color are rare and command a significant premium.
Body (Clarity/Transparency): Yellow sapphires are typically Type II gems, meaning some inclusions are common. The finest stones are transparent with an eye-clean appearance and a vitreous luster. The most desired color is a saturated, buttery or canary yellow without green or brown overtones. Good cutting is essential to avoid a washed-out or dark appearance.
